Goosedale Banqueting Centre, Papplewick

303 m² of sand and cement screed over underfloor heating for the banqueting hall, two toilets and a large conservatory at Goosedale, Papplewick.

The floor was designed for a flowing screed, but site conditions had eaten into the drying time, so we proposed Tarmac Truscreed instead: a 1:4 C20 sand and cement screed with a twelve-hour retarder and polypropylene fibres, laid to the site specification and fast-drying enough for the floor coverings to go down within 7 days.
